  • NEW! Institute for New Chief Academic Officers
    Designed for chief academic officers and provosts in their first three years on the job, the Institute will provide practical executive leadership development through a yearlong series of meetings. While the 2005-06 Institute has filled to capacity, information on the 2006-07 will be available soon.
  • Office of Women in Higher Education: National Leadership Forum
    November 30-December 2, 2005, and May 30-June 2, 2006, Washington, DC
    Each Forum brings together college and university presidents to work with women who are ready to move into senior administrative positions or presidencies.
  • Fellows Program
    The ACE Fellows Program is the nation's premier higher education leadership development program. It identifies and prepares senior faculty and administrators to become skilled in the leadership of institutional change.

    These workshops for division and department chairs are designed to develop the leadership capacities of newly appointed department, division, and program heads and to renew the skills and enthusiasm of experience heads
  • NEW! Conflict Management Workshop
    July 18-20, 2006, Chicago, IL
    For those who have already participated in a Chairing the Academic Department workshop, this workshop provides a forum in which experienced department, division, and program heads can further develop their conflict management skills.
  • Office of Women in Higher Education: Regional Leadership Forum

    These Forums serve emerging and mid-level leaders who are ready to move into deanships and vice presidencies.
